Confession: I'm not really a Christmas tree kinda gal!
Now don't get me wrong. I've decorated many a Christmas tree in my day, and will certainly decorate one if asked. But I prefer to keep things a bit simple. When it comes to my home, my tree is my fireplace! I just love the warm glow of the logs burning and candle light. I didn't have much time to plan decor with my surgery, but I wanted to do a bit of something!
So this year, I'm just doing a few touches of a winter wonderland theme. Natural green, a sprinkle of gold, a hint of silver and warmed up with bronze tones. Once this canvas gets framed, it will really set this baby a blaze! That's for next year 😉. My fireplace doesn't have a ton if depth to work with, so I'll add height with taller candle holders or sculptural pieces. I'll decide once I begin the update on my living room. In the meantime, swipe left and have a Happy Holiday!
