What's Included In An In-Home Consultation Please note this is not a comprehensive list of topics to be discussed during your session. Each appointment is unique and some or all topics listed may be discussed. On-site analysis where we get discuss your goals and understand your specific needs. Discuss initial thoughts and make suggestions for a design style direction. Walk through of each room to determine your aesthetic, living style, and needs. Recommendations for furniture layout. Discuss a preliminary budget and project timeline. Provide paint color selections (a list of up to 3 colors if desired). Window treatment ideas. Lighting ideas. Furniture and furnishings ideas. Styling tips and ideas for mixing patterns, styles, and heirloom pieces. Explanation of the design process, how we work and what to expect. Answer any other questions you may have. Virtual design consultations include this list via a LIVE Zoom session to be shared with you at conclusion. Please note that no design work, furniture re-arranging, measurements or materials & furniture selections will happen during this meeting. It all happens verbally. We encourage you to take notes. The consultation is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and understand your needs better, as well as an opportunity to discuss initial ideas which we take time to develop later into a custom design plan, tailor-made for your specific needs. |
