Why I Created Atelier Box™

I began my design career over a decade ago in full-service interiors and have been practicing remote design long before it became an industry norm. I loved the freedom and flexibility of virtual work—but I saw the same problem everywhere:

Virtual design was often treated like a cheap add-on. Beautiful ideas, delivered in a format that felt transactional—files and links with none of the emotional connection that makes design feel personal.

Because luxury isn’t only about what you choose; it’s about how the experience feels. In my experience, I've found that clients crave the tactile part of design: touching fabrics, comparing finishes, flipping through a book of drawings. They want the confidence that comes from seeing the full story; clearly and beautifully.

 

So I created Atelier Box™: a remote-first design experience that doesn’t feel “virtual.”


It’s refined, sensory, and deeply considered, so you can design from anywhere while still receiving something tangible, elevated, and lasting.

This is what I call Luxury Remote Design: the freedom of virtual design, with the intimacy of an in-person reveal.

Every Atelier Box™: Client Edition is customized for one signature room and includes:

  • Curated material samples (swatches + finish selections, labeled and organized)

  • Hardcover design book with your concept story and design direction

  • Floor plan + elevations (where applicable) to support layout and execution

  • Retail furniture & décor selections from trusted, design-forward brands (or curated & custom selections from to-the-trade source with the Procurement add-on service).

  • Art & styling guidance to complete the room with intention

  • Paint/color recommendations tied to lighting and mood

  • 4 realistic 3D renderings (four views) so you can see the full vision

  • Shopping list (printed + digital) to make purchasing straightforward

  • Carefully packaged delivery, presentation-ready

 

Note: Window treatments, non-custom art, and decor are recommended as retail options in the Design Only edition.

Two ways to experience the
Atelier Box™

Choose the level of support that matches your lifestyle. Both editions include the same elevated design foundation: samples, a hardcover book, plans (as needed), renderings, and a clear shopping list.

Option 1: Design Only

Best for clients who want luxury direction and prefer to purchase independently.


You receive the complete room plan + curated selections so you can order at your pace.

Includes:

  • Retail furniture selections + décor options

  • Non-custom art recommendations

  • A clear plan that makes shopping simple

Option 2: Design + Concierge Procurement (Add-On)

Best for clients who want a more hands-off experience and trade-level sourcing.
In addition to the full design plan, I source and coordinate select trade-only/custom pieces (furnishings, art, and window treatments) with ordering and delivery support.

 

Includes:

  • To-the-trade/custom sourcing (as applicable)

  • Purchasing + order coordination

  • Delivery scheduling + white-glove coordination

Client note: Concierge Procurement add-on includes a set-up fee, plus design time billed at hourly rate. Client pays freight, receiving, white glove delivery & installation, repairs, replacements, return shipping, and restocking fees if applicable (unless covered by vendor/carrier). Procurement structure varies by location. 

*Additional rooms pertain only to general areas. If designing 6 or more rooms, including Kitchens, Baths and media rooms, these spaces are quoted separately by scope.

FAQ'S

How much is the investment?

Atelier Box™ begins at the current market rate for one signature room. Additional rooms and procurement support are quoted based on scope.

Do you come measure my space?

This is a remote-first experience. Measurements are client-assisted using my guided method. Limited site measure support may be available in select Texas areas. Site measures are available for out-of-state clients with additional travel costs incurred.

How many rooms are included?

One signature room is included. Additional rooms may be added at purchase or during the design phase prior to the final presentation, at which additional rooms would need to purchased as a separate Atelier Box™.

Do you order furniture for me?

Design Only includes a curated shopping list for you to purchase at your leisure. Concierge Procurement is available as an add-on for trade/custom sourcing and ordering support.

How long does it take?

Once your intake is complete, typical turnaround is 2-4 weeks and depends on scope and responsiveness.

What if I already have furniture I want to keep?

Existing pieces can be incorporated when they fit the design direction.

Can you work with clients outside Texas?

Yes. Atelier Box™ is designed to be delivered remotely.
