Interior Design Partnership

Firm Collaborations with Principal-Level Design Leadership for Complex Projects

I partner with builders, architects, developers, and firms who require experienced interior design leadership to guide projects with complexity, compliance requirements, or scale.

This service exists for teams that need more than production support. Teams that need a licensed, strategic design partner who understands how interior decisions impact documentation, procurement, approvals, and long-term project outcomes.

Who This is For

Interior Design Partnership is best suited for:

  • Builders and developers without internal design leadership

  • Architectural firms seeking interior design collaboration

  • Interior designers who want guidance navigating the full design process

  • Project teams managing multi-phase or large-scale work

  • Firms pursuing projects with regulatory, compliance, or bid requirements

  • Teams that value diverse, women-led expertise and professional accountability

If your project requires clarity, coordination, and confident decision-making, this partnership is designed to support that responsibility.

How I Operate as a Design Partner

In this role, I function as a principal-level design partner, not supplemental help.

That means:

  • I provide strategic oversight, not task execution alone

  • I think across phases, not just deliverables

  • I consider code, coordination, and constructability early

  • I support teams in making informed, defensible design decisions

  • I reduce risk by identifying issues before they become costly problems

My role is to bring stability, foresight, and design leadership into environments where those qualities are essential.

Scope of Partnership

Interior Design Partnership engagements may include:

  • Space planning and programming

  • Code-conscious layouts and design review

  • Finish direction and interior material strategy

  • FF&E concepts and specifications

  • Coordination with architects, consultants, and project teams

  • Documentation oversight and design continuity

  • Support qualifying for government contracts and bid submissions

Scope is defined clearly at the outset and aligned with project goals, timelines, and team structure.

How It All Began

My journey as a virtual design assistant started in 2016 when I began working for a luxury interior designer in New York. From the start, we collaborated remotely—phone calls, emails, Zoom meetings—long before it became the industry norm. I was entrusted with creating detailed construction drawings, developing concept boards, sourcing products for high-end projects and meeting in-person for exclusive consults with discerning clients. These projects and others I've designed over the years ranged from celebrity homes, product displays, hotel events, home makeovers for television, new builds & remodels, restaurants, commercial & healthcare offices and more. And when it was time for installations, I would fly or drive locally to oversee the final execution, ensuring every detail was flawless.

That experience shaped the designer I am today and was the stepping stone to my Luxury Remote & White-Label Design service models. It taught me the importance of precision, efficiency, and clear communication—skills I now bring to every firm I support. To design the type of business you love and works for you.

Engagement Structure & Investment

Interior Design Partnership services are scope-based and structured to provide predictability and alignment.

Available engagement models include:

  • Flat-fee per project

  • Per-square-foot pricing

  • Monthly retainer (ideal for ongoing or multi-project partnerships)

Monthly Retainers (Preferred for Ongoing Collaboration)

Retainers offer:

  • Predictable design leadership across projects

  • Defined capacity without hiring internally

  • Priority access and continuity

  • Strategic involvement beyond individual deliverables

This model is especially effective for builders, developers, and firms managing multiple projects or long-term pipelines.

Blueprint

Why Teams Choose a Design Partnership

1

Licensed, senior-level expertise without expanding payroll and clear ownership of interior design leadership. Reduced friction between design, documentation, and construction. Offers a steady design presence aligned with project success.

2

Support navigating complex project scopes, approvals, and bids. For teams who understand that interior design decisions are not just cosmetic, they are necessary, operational, and prioritize health, safety, and welfare of the community.

3

This service is designed for teams who value professional trust, diverse perspectives, clarity, and experienced leadership. Not all projects will be a fit, and that selectivity protects both the work and the partnership.

How to Collaborate With Me

Interior Design Partnerships are intentionally limited to ensure depth, availability, and accountability.

If you’re exploring a collaboration, submit an inquiry with details about:

  • Your project or pipeline

  • Team structure

  • Desired scope and timeline

If aligned, next steps will be outlined clearly, including engagement structure and proposed scope.
