digitalundivided | JPMorgan Chase BREAKTHROUGH Cohort

Updated: Apr 23

Veronica Sanders is selected as one of 15 business women in Dallas with the opportunity to be a founder and receive a $5,000 business grant.

digitalundivided's BREAKTHROUGH Program, powered by JPMorgan Chase's Advancing Black Pathways, provides founders with a deeper understanding of their customers, the business model that is right for their businesses, types of funding and how to establish strong banking relationships, and how to connect with local resources. In addition, each company accepted into the cohort will receive a $5,000 grant.

Finding the Founders

Each year, digitalundivided looks for 15 dynamic Black and Latina women business owners who have a technology component in their company. The program, which was held this year in Dallas, was seeking out those with majority ownership from the female founders and will provide training as well as opportunities such that they can grow even more successful than before!

Mentorship

Foundations for a successful business are built through interactions with mentors, customers and experts in the industry. The founders will have the opportunity to engage in a cohort with select mentors. They'll learn about their customers and how they can best serve them, as well as gain insight into financing options that might work for their business' needs; all while building connections within local resources who could be helpful down the road!

Daymond John, one of the most recognized branding experts in this industry. He is the CEO and fashion industry pioneer of, FUBU and is on the 4-time Emmy Award winning Shark Tank. This brand guru, best selling author and motivational speaker will be joining Lauren Maillian, the CEO of digitalundivided, a marketing maverick and brand strategist for a special fireside chat with the founders. They'll share insights on what it takes to build your own brand as an entrepreneur while answering questions from BREAKTHROUGH Dallas participants about how they've built their businesses so far!
